From the outside looking in the Bearden Administration has destroyed the sports program at Bearden High School. The principle and athletic director has some kind of agenda no one knows about. Mark Blevens will be gone after this year and you will see another uprising from another sport. These kids don't deserve this. There is now many people talking about getting rid of the athletic director and principle there and its growing fast. If you poll the student there about 50% want a change and about 75% of teachers want a change. This will never be made public due to fears of repercussions. This is the most dysfunctional school in Knoxville.

Has anyone kept up with Bearden Sports after all the issues with the sports programs and administration over the past three years. The administration getting rid of all the good coaches there. Most of the sports program has gone down hill. They got rid of the AD now get the coaches back ASAP so the better players will quit leaving the school. Winningest Football, Basketball and Softball Coach in history let go over the past few years. The principle needs to wake up and fix this or is he the problem.

Actually, Bearden didn't "get rid" of the AD. The former AD is now the football coach.

I know first hand that the soccer coach flirts with some of his girl players. Has led to other players quitting because of it. Principal there is a self righteous dufus that is as political as the day is long. I kind of feel sorry for kids that go to school there. Used to be a great school.
