I still dont understand why everyone is so down on the guy. He has never played a minute yet. I could understand if he played all season and averaged 1.2 pts a game or something, but he didn't. I am not saying he is the next star player in the country, but gotta give him the chance. He just got a bad deal IMO. Had no idea Negedu would be transferring when he committed. If he stays, he will get some playing time next year to show if he has anything to contribute. Then...if he fails, we can bash

Pearl wouldn't have red shirted him if he was better than what we have. Pearl will hopefully keep recruiting players better than him anyways and he wont get any playing time.

I thought you only redshirted players that had talent that was needed for future years?! I thought redshirt players couldn't play if you wanted to maintain future eligibility. The question is, why redshirt someone if you have no intentions of them getting on the court later when they are needed, and more mature. Why sign them at all? Most true freshman aren't going to dominate SEC level ball, so I thought his redshirt status meant he had a future.
