The lose to a crappy Auburn team then are about to lose to Houston. Is the Petrino magic gone?

The AAC is better this year than normal. Houston is decent- can't wait until they take Vandy to the woodshed.

The same thing that is up with Texas. Strong inherited a lot of Petrino talent and won with it.

That's not true at all. Steve Kragthorpe coached three seasons after Petrino left. Strong built Louisville basically from the ground up. He brought in a ton of guys with serious talent such as Bridgewater and Devante Parker. They don't have a quarterback right now. Hopefully they don't figure it out either. Would love to see the Cardinals go 5-7 or so this season, although I'd take 0-12.

Louisville losing makes me very happy. They are getting what they deserve for hiring Bob Petrino again.

Houston has hired a good coach who is out recruiting Tx right now.

Next coach for TX IMO.

Or justin Fuente..

Possibly but it depends on whether he can recruit in Tx or not. That has been a big part of Charlie Strong's problems and he keeps doing things to make it harder for himself. IMO, the ability to recruit there has to be a prerequisite for their next coach.

If Strong can win at UofL he can win at Texas...he cleaned house his first year so I think he gets at least a few more.

UT has been irrelevant for a long time now and those big boosters are probably losing patience especially having to see little brother in College Station have all that success.

I think Fuente played at TCU for awhile didn't he? I'm pretty sured he coached under Patterson. Fuentes recruits Texas pretty hard now. He'd be a beast at Texas. Like others have said, no way he's at Memphis next year. He's done a hell of a job there.
