That's not true at all. Steve Kragthorpe coached three seasons after Petrino left. Strong built Louisville basically from the ground up. He brought in a ton of guys with serious talent such as Bridgewater and Devante Parker. They don't have a quarterback right now. Hopefully they don't figure it out either. Would love to see the Cardinals go 5-7 or so this season, although I'd take 0-12.The same thing that is up with Texas. Strong inherited a lot of Petrino talent and won with it.
Possibly but it depends on whether he can recruit in Tx or not. That has been a big part of Charlie Strong's problems and he keeps doing things to make it harder for himself. IMO, the ability to recruit there has to be a prerequisite for their next coach.
