Somehow football and movies never seem to produce a very watchable or believable movie. JMO.

I'd like to see Friday Night Lights, everything I've read about it has been ok so far.

The Replacements is funny, and The Longest Yard is good but it's not pro or college ball so it loses a little there, but it has the best story of any of the football movies.

Varsity Blues is one of the worst movies ever made, along with Any Given Sunday, which like most of Oliver Stone's films, he takes a really interesting subject and editorializes the crap out it. :yuck:

I think U-T was in charge of casting the replacement cheerleaders in The Replacements.
