USC was the time that I realized this was not a Final Four team. I've not given up on a nice run in March, but I have on a deep run.

Never. . . This is stupid!! Go away fair weather fans!!!!!

It sure sounds like a bunch of fans have given up...multiple times...and likely will give up many more times before the season is over.

I think a good many of us are still a bit new to this "winning" thing when it comes to basketball.

If anyone answers this question they should immediately be banned from being a Vol fan. You never give up on your team, regardless of success. That sir is called a bandwagon fan.

Why the he!! would we give up on this team? Yes they have had a couple bad games, but come on, they have definitely over achieved after what happened at the beginning of the year. We as fans need to quit bashing on them and come out and support them every game. If anybody has given up on them, then you need to turn in your Vol badge.

Give up...never, realize they are not very good? Different story.

Here's what I have realized - they're good enough to beat the #1 team in the country, and they're also capable of getting crushed by average and good teams.

I guess the first part gives me hope of them catching fire when, as Hat says, it really matters.

In college basketball, I'd rather take a team with that potential than one that won a couple more games they should've won but clearly was never going to beat a team like Kansas.

Some of you so called Vol Fans need to go find another team. I have and never will give up on UT basketball. It's UT basketball not Duke.
I remember 10 years ago winning 2-5 games a year. Either support UT or get out of here.

Why do all the Bruce Pearl Haters rain on everyones parade after a big win claiming "the regular season doesn't mean anything" .... Then after a regular season loss they cry for three days?
