When do Single Game Tickets go on sale through the University?

They are selling to donors right now. No game has more than 2000 available and some games have none. Tickets are in south upper deck where visitors typically sit.

I will be shocked if they have any for any game left by the weekend.

I doubt that there will any football tickets available from the Tennessee ticket office until Bowl game tickets go on sale. Third party companies suck up all the tickets which were available ASAP. I think UT should reserve some tickets for fans, but they want to sell every ticket and get the money in the till.We had the opportunity to buy extra tickets when we ordered season tickets and later when they gave us the opportunity to buy more season tickets and individual game back In April, I , and many others , did not take advantage of that opportunity. I will likely buy some extra next season.

Third party companies have not yet had access to buy tickets. Season tickets aren’t purchased directly by resellers because of the Tennessee Fund structure. Most of the single game seats were purchased by season ticket holders with the additional ticket option that you mentioned.

Today, season ticket holders were able to purchase some of the remaining single game tickets to the remaining games. Next week, the general public (and third-party companies) will have an opportunity to purchase tickets for the first time this cycle if any remain.

Thanks. I have seen a number of third Party companies offering single game tickets and assumed that hey had tickets in their possession. They must be very confident thatchy have access to them.

Season ticket holders have been able to re-list their tickets on third-party sites because they already have them in hand, but the sites themselves and mass resellers have not had access to them independent of that.

What you need to do is look at the tickets labeled dark blue. Those are the ones being sold by the university. I saw them as low as $45. Also, for the Austin Peay game there are a set in section R (killer seats) going for around $250 each. The ones close by are at least twice that.

Ticketmaster lists all the fees included when they display the ticket prices now. So only tax is added at checkout. I got 3rd row aisle seats in Lower Level Z13 yesterday for Austin Peay for $84 each. Plenty still available in that section.

Does the University of Tennessee not have the resources to develop and administer a fiscally viable "In House" ticket office instead of farming it to ticketshyster..???

This is what I’m confused about. I thought we could buy single game tickets directly from the University starting today. Is that not true?

My hopes of going to go a game in Neyland this year died quickly this morning! The availability and prices for the good games are godawful. At least I can see the Virginia game in Nashville. 🫤

With season tickets selling out, it seems like the only single game tickets that were available were the unsold visitor team tickets.

When you click on the "Single Game Ticket" link on the AllVol.s web site it takes you to straight to Ticketmaster. There are just a small hand full that say "Available" when you look at the seating map (individual seats in blue) but the majority are "Verified Resale". These could be individuals selling tickets trying to make a quick buck or.. there was a rumor that ticketmasters deal allowed them to buy up blocks of tickets that were not sold as the 70K + season tickets and not allocated to other schools... but that may or may not have been just a rumor... i personally do not know. Looks like the bigger SEC games only have the resale tickets, and some of the smaller non conference school games only have a few of the "available" tickets remaining.

Is it just me or does seeing what all this has become feel weird?

I get supply and demand. I get football is riding high right now. But it's a 102k stadium...and the average fan can't go. Forget about a family of 4+ (way too expensive for 90% of families). How does a young vol fan go who, or who's family, doesn't have $200 a person in disposable income (for a ticket to a NON SEC game, parking, and then a couple of probably ridiculously priced food and drinks to get through the game).

I won't get into every scenario, but it seems 90% of America is excluded from going to Vol Football games. How does the average Vol fan ever get to be apart of the game day experience? It seems that it is truly turning into an awkwardly exclusive bubble of la-di-da people who can attend.

It has definitely gotten expensive but with that being said, I have sets of tickets for sale on the ticket forum for under $150 per set. I live west of Knoxville so I park at Farragut High School and ride a bus to the “front door” and back. The cost is $20 per person. So my wife and I both go for under $200. Any meals and drinks excluded.

That is pretty much the case. When the team is worse it'll be cheaper again. If they're worse than expected some speculators will lose quite a bit of money.
