I just looked at the remaining tickets for the USC game on UTTIX.com. It seems that there are thousands remaining. After dumping a boatload of tix for 10 and 50 bucks this week, does anyone think the UTAD is going to have a firesale or giveaway on the remaining ones?

10 and 50 bucks? I know there was a promo code for 10 dollar cheap-seats, but I highly doubt at any point we will witness a firesale or giveaway of left-over tickets LOL.

Not trying to high jack the thread, but I have a serious question. Where do dish network subscribers watch the vols games since CBS is no longer offered? I can't start a thread yet. Sorry?

Watch Stub Hub. Last Saturday they had tickets for $15 each, not terrible seats, about 30 minutes to an hour before game time.

I don't know this for a fact, but I have a hunch that the Athletic Department has been selling tickets on Stub Hub since it's become the official secondary market of UT tickets. Last year I got 3 together in the 3rd row of the upper deck South Endzone in a box for under $40 total for the Bama game. It requires some flexibility and can be a hassle to download and print, but it's worth it if you live in the local area.

Besides going to the game? Find a friend with cable.

Buy a relative cheap $25-30 (depending on how far away from your local CBS stations tower you are) antenna at Walmart and hook it to to your TV.

I know it's Hyams, but he tweeted yesterday that:

"UT sold all of 3048 student tix to UT-USC game at $10 to area college students not on fall break. No more tix available."

My mom has dish and had WJHL. We bought a basic antenna for 10.00 and works fine but the downfall is if you have a DVR you are SOL for CBS.

I cut cable (kept internet for netflix, hulu), bought an antenna for locals ..

Try anntennaweb.org, click start, then type your address, will show you distance and direction of channels to know how to point your antenna and how big of one you need (bigger is better, obligatory twss)

I knew there would some smart a$$ with a snappy remark. Thats the main reason I never post. To answer your question I have season tickets but
split them with my brother. SC is his game to go too. And I would prefer to stay at my own house to watch the game. When I signed up for dish this wasn't an issue.

Thank you. I tried the digital antenna from walmart but could only get PBS to come in. It would probably have worked if the thing was mounted to the top of the house, but that ain't happening. I guess I will go the internet route.

Wasn't trying to be one. What other options do you have besides finding someone with cable, or going to the game?

I saw that tweet too. It didnt make much sense to me...also Ive been looking at uttix.com & it won't show anything. It just says "loading." Hate to diss UT, but that site is almost worthless
