The post-season run would end...NIT is not a "post-season" for us
I would fight this tooth and nail
Yeah, it would definitely be post-season play. Since the regularly scheduled season and required conference tourney are over, any further play that occurs is by definition post season.

But it doesn't matter because the original streak we were working on destroying this time was not post-season, it was NCAA. Never been a Women's NCAA without the LVs. As soon as not making the big dance became a real possibility, I've noticed the goal posts sliding back to general "post season" play. Whatever.

Ordinarily I'd say a young team should jump on any opportunity to practice and play more. Not in this case though since I'm not sure more exposure to current coaching is beneficial at all.

If they accept a WNIT bid I'm afraid it means Holly is staying. Hard to see her doing a future building exercise with a team she won't be coaching.

I mean, considering qualifying for the WNIT is kind of sad for a P5 team, unless you finished dead last. You barely need a pulse to finish #65 in the rankings. It would be kind of embarrassing if they ended up getting an invite, win it all and put up a banner at TBA.

And due to this groundbreaking WNIT success, Holly gets another contract extension.

You're killing me with all the worse case but probably will happen scenarios!

We started off the season playing WNIT caliber teams might as well finish the season playing the same type schools! Real sad the OOC for this once proud program has gotten so embarrassing! To me this is the worst move Holly has made scheduling so many small programs!

So are you going to watch a WNIT game in TBA if Tennessee winds up in the WNIT?

You would fight this tooth and nail how? I don't think you'd have any say in the matter...

You'd be surprised

There are many ways to impact
postings, starting threads, game threads have always been a strong influence and barometer.
This site is one of the top in visibility and representations in the LV society
News orgs and individual columnists regularly refer to topics and threads we start and speak on daily
I have seen and heard direct subject matter in post-game pressers

the postings of this site are direct reflections of the most dedicated and expressive, influential people in the fanbase
The staff has to keep up with it and the players will, if not by their own viewing, from their friends and relatives.

Year after year you get to know who the new posters are, ergo, the new family and friends,,,plus geographical in the bios,,,ergo, if you read the tea-leaves, you can tell what players have tie-ins to posters

I'd say I have a lot of say in the matter
