Yep, just think when we had Missouri on the 1-yard line 3rd & 10. Cook finds the outside where we don't contain and goes for 15. Stop them there and we probably score short field or punt return for TD and change the dynamics of that game. I say this to say remember when we were stuck in the same situation on O and Joe handed it off 3 times up the middle, gained about 2 yards and punted and they scored. He has NO confidence in Joe and that's a bad spot to be in with the most important offensive weapon.

I dont know that I'd say he is terrified to take a hit but he is slow to make decisions and react. Generally isn't looking for contact either.

And the guy may look amazing in pads but he doesn't really impressive me athletically.

Very little escapability or that wiggle you see out of good runners and, if the defense has him trying to throw out of a different arm slot, who knows where the ball may end up.

Million dollar arm strength, impressive straight line speed for a guy his size, but not much else.

He looks like someone that’s constantly second-guessing himself. No telling if he had a bad coach at some point that screwed up his head or if it’s entirely his own doing.

I think it is just 2nd guessing. He even 2nd guessed on 2 QB draws which made me second guess his play.
