When we win Saturday

Of course we can, no team is unbeatable.

Speaking of other games, while the TN and GA games certainly mean the most to our programs, there are many very interesting games this weekend. I love College Football!!!
Michigan plays their first real game of the season. Hope they get pounded

You can't convince me that the team that's won like 30 in a row and 9-0 is losing back to back so now I have to decide if I want that chance at the east and them break Tenns heart or be the team who finally beats them and spoils the perfect season lol
This is a new Georgia team this season. They’re just now getting to the meat of their schedule. Mizzou put up a good fight, I see no reason for anyone to believe it’s not possible it can happen.

Because they're just too good. Ole Miss and Tenn still just aren't there.
But I hope it happens!!! The games will be close for sure.

I'm stuck at a wedding starting at 3:30 Eastern time. It'll be over by 7:00.

Tell your bride to be that there are more important things going on that day. After all, you are going to be married a lifetime but this is TN FOOTBALL!!!!! we are talking about!! Besides, better break her in already :p

and before everyone comments that its not HIS wedding, yes, I know that but was simply making a comical point. You may carry on.

Yep, when we're in the hunt for a title, whether SEC or national or both, we watch a lot more football from all corners of the nation than we otherwise would.

Back in the Fulmer era, each Thursday or Friday, I would rank the games of the weekend, in and out of conference, according to how significantly they could impact our own chances. And then watched as many of the key ones as I could.

I think we're close to being back in that same place again.

Go Vols!
I was watching those 2 games at a crowded restaurant in downtown Atlanta before going to the Dome to watch us beat Wayne Madkin and company.

I’m being dragged to a wedding on the day of the Georgia game. May be a good omen though. The last two games I was forced to miss were the Florida and Georgia games in 2016. I was so mad, and of course when I got back to watch the rest of the season we crapped all over ourselves

I hate the Pac 12 breakup for this reason. I love watching Pac 12 after dark games. They don’t play defense out there, so the games are fun to watch and all the other games are all over.
Completely agree. The only good thing that might come out of the PAC 12 breakup is us not having to play Iowa or Indiana in future bowl games. Give me USC, UCLA, Oregon all day before playing these boring, current BIG 10 teams.
We play an exciting schedule of SEC teams and then make a bowl game to play these "two yards and a cloud of dust" middle tier Big 10 teams.

Not even Saban has lost back to back in 15 years. You'd basically be saying that Georgia actually isn't better than Tenn & Ole Miss and I just can't see it.
Unless maybe they're all right about Bobo and he lays a couple turds.
Ole Miss is actually pretty good. UGA doesn't have the same talent they have had. Yes they have a bunch of highly rated kids but you see a defense with several 1st rd picks what about all the day 2 guys now playing in the NFL. That is the difference in this years UGA squad and that doesn't come every year no matter what you think.
Also we are at home anything is possible. If UGA stays unbeaten they have earned it on the back half of the schedule. Thats said WGWTFA

Think of it as a damn breaking. They've won 30+ games in a row, but once the first loss happens, the damn busts open and they lose two straight games.

This may be the final time that I’m a Lane Kiffin/ Ole Miss fan ever in my entire life. Go Rebels. Let’s make sure we beat Mizzou. GO VOLS!

Stanford over Oregon State wouldn't be that big of a surprise to me. Stanford has seemingly been playing better as of late. They found a pulse.
Which is why Michigan didn't schedule them. Nobody they have played this year has a pulse (53 SOS) and Penn St. has looked less than stellar as of late.

There’s this feeling I can’t seem to get rid of that Tennessee loses to Missouri tomorrow, only to turn around and stun Georgia in Knoxville next Saturday.
