Certainly an interesting story. As far as I know it was very difficult for CSA Cavalry units to actually find yellow cloth to line their cuffs/uniforms (which was the branch identification color)...I think they used like buff instead or something

People debate the true meaning of "Sweet Home Alabama" and if it has racial undertones. Only the writers really know.
What I do know is how much I enjoy hearing drunken, inbred Alabubba fans singing their classless version "Dixieland Delight". Oblivious to the fact that it pays homage to the great state of Tennessee! Probably even East Tennessee (mountain moonlight?). Makes me laugh every time.
