to me it is more a if they get there instead of when, there is a lot of football to be played, against some some very good teams, time will tell

His win should go somewhere in the top 10 of "most important" wins for the TN program of all time.

I say this because his win will help re-solidify our program and show the world (and mainly top recruits) we have turned the corner.

I cannot think of a bowl win in the last 20 years, other than the BCS championship, that had more riding on it for the UT program than this one.

If you disagree then list the actual bowl and why it would mean more.

I get that he's the leader of this team but Worley will not single handedly win a bowl game. It won't be his win or his bowl game, it will be a team effort. I'm certain he would say the same.

Bowl Practice would be huge for this young team and a win would accelerate our momentum.

This all day. Having so many young players, to be able to experience the bowl atmosphere, the practices, will be monumental to these kids. Plus, to start their Tennessee careers with a bowl game (and hopefully) a win would mean a completely new mindset to these kids at the start of next season. And just imagine the National Championship talk on Volnation all offseason. It will be insanely stupendous.

One of the most important wins of all time? Yeah I'm going to go with no on that one.

IDK that winning or losing the bowl game means anything to this program but the bowl practices would be nice. WTF does it matter if we beat some directional program in the Meinke Care Bowl? Lets make a bowl and see which one it is and who it's against before we start weighing importance.

One would argue if the final win propels them into the bowl season it will be just as important.
