I don't bet on athletics and I would never bet on Florida! As a fan for 25 years, I can assure you, they know how to disappoint and that's bad enough.

My original point was that, although Alabama has a good record in the past versus Florida, if you want to use that as a predictor in this game, it seems to me you have to account for the fact that this year Florida appears to be so much better than Alabama whereas, in years past, it was the other way around.

What I am saying is that the prior record matters -- if the teams that year were objectively in the same boat as they are this year. And of course I tend to doubt that is the case.

The spread don't matter....and ya'll are actually favored by 14 last one I saw....Unless it went up since Thursday but I thought the final one come out then so I might be wrong.....But the point spread won't mean jack today....If it was me, and I was a betting man, I'd take Alabama and the points......Not to win but take the points....It won't bother me if they win mostly because I'm for whatever will help us in the race to win the East but either way, IMO, whoever loses today will be SWEET

I mean sure, I'd be happy with Florida losing just to get back in the race for the East......But, I know that if they don't lose this week, they could lose somewhere in the next 4 games.....Like you said, you can't complain when two teams you're born to hate being a Vol is guranteed to lose
