Daniel Lincoln is a Navy SEAL! Probably stationed on a ship somewhere doing hunt and kill missions on terrorists in the continent of Africa, then returns to the safety of the ship.

Being in the Navy, I used to do a lot of gate guard duty at Little Creek Amphibious base in Virginia Beach where some of the Seal teams work. When I heard Lincoln became a Seal I always hoped he would pass through. To see the look on his face when I ask him for an autograph! Ha! I don't know if that's against the UCMJ or not... who cares, Go Vols!

Former QB Alan Cockrell is all time hitting leader for Colorado Springs Sky Sox (Rockies AAA). He went on to Coach the Sky Sox and as hitting coach for Rockies and Mariners.

Nice guy, several years ago met him and his wife at Pueblo Zoo. He told me his name and was shocked when I asked him if he played for UT. Real nice and pretty wife too!

Made his day that I knew him, even though he is a humble guy.

Peyton Manning was drafted by the Colts in the first round. Since then he has set numerous passing records for the Colts and in the NFL and won a Super Bowl. He now plays for the Broncos. He is married to Ashley.

Yep thanks to Todd Helton who just finished a long and amazing career with the Colorado Rockies! Great 2 sport star for UT!

Dante Stallworth and Leonard Little both took lives drinking and driving while playing in the NFL.

Jamaal Lewis had a cocaine import/export business for a while but it failed.

Met Todd Helton once at my wife's uncle's funeral in 2000. They had been friends for a long time and he and his wife were at the wake. He came up to me and shook my hand and just said "Hi I'm Todd". I didn't recognize him until my brother-in-law told me who he was. (This was the year he was chasing .400 all year) Great guy who had no desire for anyone to give him any attention. Wish him the best in anything he does.

Curt Watson ("Crossville Comet") retired in Florida after career flying for Fed Ex; before that, Curt was a member of the Blue Angels flying team. Truly a VFL.

I met Curt at an air show in CA several years ago. He was "glad handing" the VIPs at the Hughes Aviation display tent. I naturally had to say "Hi" and had a short discussion with him. When asked what was he doing now (pre FedEx), he replied "Making a living off of who I used to be." I chuckled, but felt badly for him. He has done great things since, but had a down moment, I think.
