Where are we ranked on the 2016 recruiting board?

Oh yeah, about that 2014 class...If you're talking 2017, then nine 4*'s are already gone. Paulk is gone.
Blair, Weatherd, Pearson, and Williams will be gone. Creamer, Raulerson, and Johnson are MIA. We
basically will have a senior class of 14 guys from that class that are contributing, and with 10 guys
gone for whatever reason, that is no longer a Top 10 class.

Any program in the country would take 14 (and that isn't even including the JUCOs) contributors from one class.

Come on man, if your so caught up in the stars then you obviously Don't trust the coaching staff and their evaluation of talent. If you don't trust the staff to bring in the right players to bring our program back to the top then what do you suggest? Do you just sit there and think every day that Tennessee will be mediocre at best? What kind of vol does that? I wake up and have faith and feel that this program is on the doorstep of national prominence and dominance again.

Ability to delude yourself does not make you a better fan than those who can make honest evaluations based on history, statistics, and results.

Its gonna depend on how the season plays out. If we can keep the losses to a minimum and win our bowl game, then this class will end up 7-10.

What he was referencing to, is that "quality" is of positional needs. It may not be pretty on paper, but it's more about needs and building "quality" depth, rather than just loading up on skill positions that we don't need.

Yeah, and I'm sure when these three stars lose to Florida's four stars you guys won't be there saying "It's not the coaches' fault, the other team just had more talent."

Right.

I think it's funny people are worried about recruiting rankings in October. I guarantee you there will be a few commits we have now that will not sign in February and a lot of surprises before nsd

Right.

According to Rivals, Tennessee and Florida both have 6 4 stars currently committed to this year's class. Florida has more 3 stars with 14 than Tennessee's 10. It's hard to take you serious when you are completely clueless about a topic. Probably should stay in the football forum with Hoptown who thinks we are the only program that suffers attrition.

I counted 7 4 stars gone, 19 seniors will be here as of 2017. MIA meaning what? That they will never play meaningful snaps at UT? You don't know that. And even if that is the case that just means someone better beat them out. And you can't gauge whether a class is a top 10 class or not unless you factor other programs attrition rates, under ranked 3 stars, etc. All it is, is some bs false narrative people like you want to constantly put out there because you live for drama. That's what the football forum is for.

Thank you for explaining that way better than I could. Spot on what I was trying to say!!
