Where do you want to retire to or have a 2nd home?

I'm 34. Wife and I have discussed buying about 5-10 acres in about 5 places we like or near family and then when retirement comes we decide on a place and sell the other areas for a down payment on building a house.

I live in AZ, so already in a pretty good place to retire. I'd want to have a summer home in the mountains somewhere. SLC, Park City, or somewhere in Colorado.

Either that or just move to Central America.

Whenever retirement comes I'd love to buy an RV and travel all over the country.

My wife and I are about 10 years out. We've thrown out the idea of the motorhome and may do that. We are leaning towards a large, 50' plus aft cabin motor yacht. We would locate it somewhere on the east cost of FL. From there we could cruise the Bahamas in the winter. Visit all the out islands. Take it back to FL in summer time. The Bahamas in the winter is awesome.

My plan is to buy land in all the places mentioned above, charge you dearly to buy said land, and take my massive profits and buy a place in an as yet undetermined location.

I've always wanted to travel up around the Dakotas and Montana area.

Make sure you see both sides of TRNP. Last time we were there, Wiiliston was impossible to access, may have cleared up a little now, but I would access the park from the south, not east. There's a lot more in SD and ND than people think...more than Wall Drug and Deadwood:).
