Where does bama finish????

Alabama takes 3rd behind LSU and Auburn. But then again that is subject to change if Croyle gets hurt early. Then again I think someone will suprise Tennessee throughout the season and the Florida Game is the make or break for our chances in the SEC.

I think they'll beat SC, especially if they play them in Tuscaloosa or Birmingham.

In my honest opinion, I would put Bama as either 2 or 3 in the west. LSU is clearly the favorite. Beyond that who knows. The major questions that must be answered are, will Croyle be sharp and healthy long enough for the Tide to have any air game and get some pressure off Darby? Will Auburn rebound will the beating they took in the draft? If Croyle is healthy and the offense clicks, I think Bama can be a solid #2. If not and Auburn can rebound, Bama is the 3 team in the west. I hope this is the unbiased opinion you were looking for.

Just out of curiosity; how would you justify picking Bama over the Vols, when we've beaten you like a red headed step-child at a church wedding for 9 of the last 10 years, we're picked by most everyone anywhere from 2-5 in the preseason, while Bama is picked toward the bottom of the top 25, if at all.

Feel free to wax eloquent here. :dlol:

Well, I keep hoping that someday I'll find one with at least a GED. :D

You know a bachelor's degree from Tuscalooser is only equivalent to a GED anywhere else in the country.

Bama finishes no better than 3rd in the West. If they could stay healthy (QB, OL and RB) they could finish as high as 2nd in the west but history has proven that they are not likely to stay healthy. We all know what happens to QBs and RBs when the line isn't healthy (UT 2004).
