But yes, football is a thorn in the side right now. Basketball has been up and down and we've gotten screwed a couple of times by the selection committee since Alford left. Lady Bears basketball has been on a downswing since Jackie Stiles was here but we hired a former Lady Vol last year who I think will get us back to the promise land. Baseball made the Dance two years ago but has a coach past due but he's a legend so no one is going to force him out.

That is very good to hear about the President. It seems that the AD who replaced Bill Rowe has not experience much success. The baseball team went to the college series a while back and the basketball team saw the sweet 16 in 1999. I will caveat my opinion by stating that men's sports have been irrelevant for a while. I read where they are doing construction on the football stadium. When I went there no one went to those games. Just seems like a waste of money. I certainly hope they turn it around. At least Drury won a championship last year.
