Seldon has stayed banged up off and on first two seasons here. He has been back in at least the last game on kick return and had one decent return. I guess coaches feel Bishop has performed well enough to stay in the backup role although I think Seldon clearly has a higher ceiling than Bishop.

Bishop is a better back.

Might be buried a bit on the depth chart, DeSean Bishop has that RB2 spot locked up he’s been running great

Seldon is approaching the can’t stay healthy bust status of many before him.

Bishop may simply be better even if Seldon is healthy.

he was cleared to play by the medical staff but CJH has always been over-protective about injured players returning,imo. It being a shoulder injury, I'd guess it has something to do with his ability to block pass rushers.

That is a matter of opinion I guess, however, Seldon hasn't been healthy enough to show his potential. Bishop has looked good but Seldon (fingers crossed if ever 100% healthy) without question has higher ceiling. Bigger, faster, and I would assume probably as strong or stronger.

He's bigger, faster, and I would assume as strong or stronger. He was ahead of Bishop on depth chart beginning of season before getting banged up again. When or if he ever gets fully healthy he will be RB2.
