Where is the Notre Dame smack?

I’m not talking about the players on either side. I’m talking about us, thinking we’re gonna wipe them out. I ain’t telling nobody how to do but I’m gonna go humble.

GBO!!!
They started yapping their traps and fired the first shot. I was being very complementary of their team until they wanted to act like they already have this thing won. Baker Mayfield said he was dangerous once upon a time. What’s he doing now? Doesn’t mean I think this is going to be an easy super regional. ND is a good team but if they want to talk trash, we ain’t that team.

Idk maybe say something like “we have a lot of guys that can hit and run the base paths and we feel like our pitching staff is very good. We are a well rounded team and feel we can matchup with them.” You can say things a certain way and not come off as a douche. What he said came off as disrespectful, saying we should be scared.
I guess I just like the confidence. It’s a competitive sport. Of course they’re going to think they can win. I doubt any of our players would say or do anything as bold as this Notre Dame quote. Lol.

I like confidence too. Heck our team is the definition of confidence. But to come out before the first pitch has been thrown and say “they should be scared” is something else. All I gotta say is I would be none to pleased with him as a teammate. The last thing you want is to give your opponent extra motivation before the first game has even started.

Hope Evan is ready, they're gonna try to steal after every hit.

This team is dangerous for UT. Junkball pitchers and base stealers - we have shown some weaknesses in both areas.

GBO!!

Ya know I keep hearing that LNS is why the Vols have hit so many HR`s. Just curious does anyone have any idea the number of opposing team HR`s hit in LNS compared to those hit by the Vols?

Vols have hit 115 (2.88/gm) at home, opponents have hit 38 (0.95/gm) in LNS, Vols have hit 33 (1.43/gm) away from LNS. Those saying LNS is a big reason for the Vols are on to something given they hit double the amount per game at home than they do away.

One of my few regrets in life is not having taken latin in Jr. High. So the post carries a reward to those whose language skills I admire.

Knowing latin should earn you more respect than just being the first one to tell your friends which Super Bowl this is, or explain that it isn't the "Liv" Golf Tour.
From Google translation:
"Saints allow the rocky peak to become a valley of humility"

You realize we played almost 3/4 of our games at home, right? Good grief. It's not like opposing teams don't get to bat while they're here

Enough with the field already, get some new material. There are plenty of comparisons in the game.
Lastly if opposing team have been playing on these "massive" fields LNS should work to their advantage. Everyone will have the same opportunity this week end.
