Where were the breaks made?

Does the missed holding call excuse the blown coverage?
Of course not, our secondary has been atrocious when needed the most. That doesn't excuse refs to ignore blatant infractions that seem to be called at the most opportune time to kill our progress.

Does the missed holding call excuse the blown coverage? Its cathartic to blame everything on blown calls but the truth here is, the pass would have been completed with or without the hold. The infraction literally had no effect on the outcome of the play.

Yes, it should have been called. But the receiver should have been covered.
The DE would have sacked their QB without the hold.

The officiating in the game and level of cheating the SEC did to pacify Alabama's toothless fanbase is a disgrace to football and sports in general.

And that is the point. Control what you can control. Cover the receiver. Cannot control the missed holding call.

The DE had no chance of getting to Milroe. The ball was out. I guess the safety saw the hold occur and just assumed he didn’t have to cover the Bama wideout?
The ball was out. Haha wrong, qb had to step up in the pocket to throw well after the hold that kept DE from the qb. No hold he gets to the qb. The hold is flagged, no touchdown.

Pretty simple really. One, Saban made halftime adjustments. Heupel didn’t. Their WRs out played ours. They basically **** down our run game. Their defense made big plays when it had to and ours didn’t for the lost part. The play calling in the second half was maybe Dooley or Pruitt level dumb.

Keep on blaming the refs for everything. Just makes you look like a sore loser.

Alabama has a second half offense
I challenge anyone to tell me what, exactly, bama did better than us?
They adjusted to what Tennessee was doing better.
The didn't struggle in the red down.
They won 4th down every time.
They scored a TD off the turnover.
They were the more creative team calling plays.
They passed the ball better.
They scored 27 unanswered.

It’s quite simple, the officials controlled the game. People don’t realize how easy it is but it is a game of inches. Literally one call could change the course of a game. It stops any possibility of getting in rhythm. It stops drives. It continues drives for others. The inconsistencies were obvious and that’s exactly what happened in the second half of the Florida game as well. It’s ridiculous and makes it unenjoyable.

Yeah, the officiating was bad, but they let us win last year. I just keep hoping that I'm alive in 15 years to see us get all the calls and the victory!

They made half time adjustments that worked. Vols didn’t.
Adjustments were hold on offense and institute “grab” coverage on defense. Those were their adjustments. When that didn’t seem like it was going to get the job done they decided to do the bs fair catch as well. Refs did everything they could to stack the deck for Bama. Anyone that can’t see that is dumb or biased.

Ball wasn’t out. You’re completely FOS and a troll.

Look at post #6 in this thread for the video. Clear holding that clearly influenced the play. DE bare minimum influences the play or outright sacks Milroe into oblivion

What was Heupel to do after each play should’ve been a first down and it was taken away? Punt it away and have each stop be flagged for 5 and a first?

The 2nd 4th down call wouldn’t have mattered if Lally wasn’t called for Def Holding. Bama made 1 play which was the strip sack that allowed them to win. You are all so battered you won’t call a spade a spade and it’s pathetic.

We finally have a real coach and instead of blaming the league because you think it’s impossible to be broken, you would rather blame the coach for a position no one could win in. Every first down we made in the 2nd half was reviewed and progress stopped, every stop was flagged.

If they kept getting free opportunities due to the stripes, no call was going to matter. If you have BVS, please just find another team because the rest of us would like to move forward and eliminate the BS from the league.
The same refs were there in the first half when we utterly dominated Bama. We got flat out coached in the second half. Period. Play good enough to win and refs don't matter.

Bama football is all the people of Alabama have to hang their hat on.

If not for Saban's chokehold on the SEC Office and needed success of said football program the state of Alabama would be irrelevant to the rest of the US, except around the Gulf Shores region.

C'mon, it's all they have so let's show them some compassion and empathy.
