Where's everyone staying in Nashville for the opener?

Yes, the interstates are horrible at time and thankfully there are other roads to get around and to downtown.

Looks like the La Quinta across the street from Nissan Stadium is full and the Comfort Inn beside it has awful reviews... Thinking about venturing over across the river to a nicer hotel that's still in walking distance. Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions since I've not spent a whole lot of time in Nashville.

If you don't mind staying out by the airport, it's a lot less money. It's not so far away, and a relatively cheap Uber or Lyft in and out, too.

It'll be "wake and bake" for y'all at 10am...
It’s like that most Saturdays anyway… lol. Yeah those 10 am games are a little rough. It’s kinda weird drinking mimosas instead of beer or whiskey when you are watching football.

I got the La Quinta for no other reason than being so close to the stadium.

Too bad I’m recovering from neck surgery. I could crash with my brother in Thompsons Station, my best friend in Franklin, cousins in Columbia, or rough it at Fort Campbell. Shame I don’t have those options in KnoxVegas! I seriously doubt my wife would be kosher with me staying with an exGF in Oak Ridge…

I won't be attending the game, but I recently spent the night on a quick trip to Nashville at the Hyatt Holston House just off Broadway. I'll stay there again.

There are many hotels downtown that are within walking distance to the stadium. There is the JW, the Downtown Hilton, the Omni, a Holiday Inn, and a Hyatt. They will cost more but they will provide the best experience. If you push out to the burbs and drive in for the game, I would stay south or west of town, like West End or Bellevue, or down in Brentwood or Franklin, you can take the bus from these areas, too. Everywhere else in Metro will likely be a dump, even over by the airport. Another option if you don't mind driving into the game is to stay in a hotel in the surrounding counties before you get into Metro. That's probably the safest and most cost effective choice, and with three interstates running through town you're only 20-30 minutes from the stadium.

Stay out of East and North Nashville.

Will be in the North Georgia mountains, Blue Ridge for that weekend. Got a cabin that has a nice TV setup for the game Saturday and will be able to enjoy the area Sunday and Monday too. Heck of a lot cheaper than downtown Nashville. Thought about going up there for the game but it's just too expensive this time around.

East Nashville has changed greatly over the past 2 decades and the northern part of Davidson County is NOT North Nashville. The zip code 37208 has the highest rate of resident criminals in the nation.

This is accurate. I have never paid more than $14 for a ride from the airport area to the stadium.

There's a couple AirBnB's I'm looking at which are north/riverfront within a mile from Broadway. Bad idea?

Germantown and around the baseball stadium are ok, wouldn't stay north of Charlotte Ave or outside the inner highway loop (north and east).
