I was just watching the replay of UK and Miss. ST., and it was unbelievable how many empty seats there were. I'm sure the AD and the president likes seeing that. Is Crooms job safe? What about Coker, and Bowden? It should help our recruiting, but could hurt if Cut leaves.

Bowden isnt going anywhere, the only way he leaves is if he retires.

I think Croom gets at least one more year due to the probation. Bowden is so safe it's pathetic. Coker should be pricing U-Hauls.

Croom might have his job for another year... Miss State's fanbase isn't as rabid as others. With Miami out of ACC contention, Coker is officially toast. Bowden's not out, yet. Getting him out of Tallahassee will be tough. I can't make heads of everything else going on in the ACC... Dan Hawkins is immediately on the hot seat at Colorado. Walt Harris is probably out at Stanford.

That's off the top of my head.

The talent in Miami has declined, but they still have plenty enough to beat the crap out of just about any of the ACC's weaklings. They almost lost to freaking Duke. Coker would be smart to just resign before it gets any worse.

Agreed. Twice. He and Mike Belotti have grossly underperformed in the Pac-10 over the last few years. Although Belotti was only made to look good when he had Jeff Tedford in his staff... Koetter has no excuses.

Belotti hasn't underperformed. He simply coaches at a bottom feeder program.

You really think they'll get rid of Al Groh? They've been pretty successful until this year. I don't remember ever hearing much about UVA before he got there.

Or, if they carry him away laying horizontal.........

He has made FSU everything they are today. The thought of booting him is crazy.

I said they should. George Welsh built a nice program there. Groh has done absolutely nothing.

They were ranked #1 at one point in the '90 season. George Welsh consistently had them in contention in the ACC. Groh has done nothing but recruit overhyped losers like Ahmad Brooks. Groh and Coker are flip sides of the same coin.

Come on. There's no way Groh is that bad. I think it's a little easier to be successful at Miami than at UVA. Honestly, since the 2002 season, Coker hasn't done any better than Groh.

Groh was a loser at Wake Forest, a loser with the Jets, and he's a loser now.
