Which coaches are gone?

Not really. Who in the SEC have they beaten?

They are Mississippi state champions.

6-6 gets you to a bowl. If that is what UK aspires to, by all means they should keep Rich Brooks.

That is exactly what they aspire to be. Remember that 6-6 team that lost to 6-6 Syracuse in the Music City Bowl? Glory Days.

So, playing 3 nonconference tomato cans and beating Vanderbilt, Mississippi State, and Ole Miss makes you good?

They haven't beaten Vandy yet. From what I have seen so far, Vandy is a better team than the Cats.

well i read an article a few weeks back on CBS sportsline that Miami was lookin for Brian Van Gorder for their coach, he is in his first year at Georgia Southern, and running the house that Erk Russell built into the ground, so you never know, so if BVG and SS is up, oh well, i would like to see Paul Johnson to come into the SEC,,,

Yeah, I'm sure the "U" is dying to hire a guy who can't win in I-AA.

That has to be the most ludicrous speculation ever. The alumni would form a lynchmob outside Paul Dee's office if they hired that guy.

If that was really written on that site, they should just shut down their server now.

Bowden isnt going anywhere, the only way he leaves is if he retires.

Don't forget dies...oh, wait! They'd prop him up with a pole and roll him around on a pair of skates just to make sure people don't panic.

Coker- will get 1 more year...and should! He can't control those players actions..but he can quit recruiting those thugs!
Bowden-will leave when HE wants to leave! He IS FSU!
Amato- 1 more year!...MAYBE...
Croom-LONG GONE...DONE! FINISHED! KAPUT!
Cutcliff-would maybe leave for a high profile job (Miami)...but who the heck am I to say...just speculating

Cutcliffe will be a legitimate candidate at the "U" at exactly the same time I become the frontrunner for the presidency of Sudan.

I think you have FSU confused with Alabama.:p

Bobby Bowden: Without him, FSU would be FAU. They should kiss his feet and beg him to stay.

Rich Brooks: 6-6 is the stuff of the Kentucky Football Ring of Honor. He stays, especially if he wins the bowl game.

Sylvester Croom: I really want him to stay, I think he is a good guy (and I have several friends on staff there), but I think it comes down to the Egg Bowl...if he wins that again, he gets 1 more year.

Chuck Amato: Mr. Shades may get one more year...half a year if improvement isn't shown.

John L. Smith: Gone.

Al Groh: Virginia still has football???

Larry Coker: so far beyond Screwed that the light from Screwed will take 1,000,000 years to reach him.

Is there an available coach who would be willing to accept the UK job that could do better than a .500 record at UK?

Coker should be out of here. Bowden is only gone if he retires (which I think he should). I think John L. Smith could be on his way out as well.
