Thought this would be an interesting poll to post in both forums and see how they compare.

As insane as Alabama football has been especially recently, I think historically it's Kentucky basketball.

For decades UK was the only school even trying in basketball. I believe they own over half of all SEC basketball titles. There has been much more parity in the SEC over the last 40 years, but back in Rupp's days UK had no real competition in the conference.

What does this have to do with UT basketball?

Learn how to use the messageboard.
Lack of comprehension is no excuse on this one, my friend. It might actually bring over a few more folks to the basketball forum to take a peek. It could certainly use it if you compare the two. On this forum a few folks dominate the whole discussion like you. Nobody is interested. Heck, the viewership has doubled since I started posting again. Some just can't see the forest for the trees.
PS 6 votes in 30 minutes, that's what it has to do with UT basketball.

clearly alabama football--nick will get another ring this year and next year's team may be even better. He'll probably end up with 8-10 rings before he retires in 5-7 years.

And staying a few minutes and seeing the place is ruined by a guy with an obsession of a disgraced former coach and the eagerness to watch his so called team fail, they'll leave.

Oh...6 VOTES IN 30 MINUTES! OMG!!!

Instead of 2 different versions of the same poll, why not just 1 in the NCCA forum?

Now get merge the one from the Tennessee basketball forum.

D4H brings more to the football forum than SD brings to the BB forum and that says A LOT... but to the question it is Alabama football and it's not even close. UK basketball is a top 5 school but not dominate like Alabama is. Saban is the best recruiter and the best in-game coach in college football. Cal is the best recruiter but is not that great of an in-game coach.

Cal's ego is more happy with getting players to the NBA than winning championships. He'd rather get his starting 5 to the league than winning a natty.

Which is more dominant Duke & Coach K or Bama & Coach Saban would be a better question, and Bama would still be the answer.

Well, now that it's been moved you can't really tell if there is a difference between what basketball fans think and football fans think. That was the goal but we just lost that perspective because someone like you didn't get that and moved it.

Well it has NOTHING to do with Tennessee Football. I guess you don't get that...

Overall I'd say UK. But the majority of SEC schools invest more resources in football, so Bama's dominance in that sport has been more difficult to achieve than UK's dominance in basketball.

UK by a pretty wide margin. SEC football has the most parity of any of the other power 5 conferences, especially the Big 10 and Big 12. That being said, Bama's accomplishments are therefore much more impressive. They are probably about to have double our SEC titles after this year and we have the second most.

The SEC loves football. Always has, always will. That's where all the money, facilities, passion and trophies went.

We currently have 10 members of the SEC that have claimed national championships in college football, sometime in their history. Yes, even Kentucky's newly crowned title in 1950, under Bear Byrant. How many teams in basketball?

In short, half the teams in the SEC still aren't sure B-Ball is a scholarship sport.

UK hoops has more SEC and national titles than the rest of the member schools combined....hell throw in Georgia Tech and Tulane from back in the day, UK still has more.

That's dominance.

Sorry your feelings are hurt; but the mods are smarter than you. Plus I didn't even have to ask them.

Kentucky, Arkansas, Florida, LSU, Alabama, and Missouri have claimed national titles in basketball.
