BTW, I appreciate being tall, white, educated, clean and having blue eyes, all advantages in my mind.
In our house we celebrate both Black History Month, because our 2 youngest are from South Africa and Asian American/Pacific Islander Heritage Month (May) because my oldest two are Japanese American. My wife is 2nd generation Italian American so we occasionally eat Italian food and let our 14 year old son wear wife beaters (but not at Sunday night dinner). We were considering combining all of the White guy holidays (President's Day, Valentines Day, April Fools Day, May Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Christmas (we debate whether Jesus was White or Black a lot in our house) and New Years (ever see a Black Father Time?) ) into one long celebration but decided we would try to get President's Day moved to coincide with Super Bowl Sunday instead.
