Orange Jersey/White Pants.

White Jersey/White Pants.

I wish this was always what the team wore. The orange pants are different this year though, right? They looked more like Tennessee orange while in recent years the orange was more shiny? Maybe I'm just imagining it but if I'm not, they look better this year than they have in the past.

I agree with this TOP, even that the orange pants look better this year. They did used to look shiny.

you can make the white pants look shiney just spray them down with pam so we can't be tackled... don't forget to spray our cleats and shoe strings too.

I really like this look. I have liked the all white since Peyton debuted them in 94 or 95, except I like this version better. The original had an almost neon orange color with really large numbers and the black outlines, plus the well placed torch patch. Over time though it seems the numbers got a little more of actual PS151 instead of the neon, but the black trim was still there. When they brought back the orange pants for road trips I was excited, love to get our colors out there as much as possible, but the jerseys and pants looked completely mismatched.

Now we get the stormtroopers back with real UT orange and no black, but also get the large numbers and orange stripes to rep our colors as well. I love this new look.

The all white debuted before that. Shuler wore all white. The jerseys with the black debuted at Alabama in 1995. I think. It was 95, at least.

My initial thought to that comment was "dammit storm troopers can't hit the broad side of a barn, that's a bad (or in our case, accurate) comparison."

LOL. Has anyone compiled a stat on the # of missed laser shots by Stormtroopers over the course of all Star Wars movies? It's hilarious to watch.

We play so much better in orange pants as evidenced by last week's game.

See how this could go in circles all day?

We tend to stink it up no matter what we wear these days.

How about they don't wear pants at all?...Maybe start a new tradition...I will bet big big money we win that game because nobody will want to tackle us lol...If they do then we'll know why they call them gators....Ok that was bad but dang it its game day :)

Is it me or has our color orange got brighter? It doesn't look like UT orange to me.

And the orange on the pant stripe looks to be a different shade from the numbers... Why not just use the exact same material they use for the numbers for the stripe too? :loco:

Stormtroopers were union employees of Darth Vader, I believe. Over time, they stopped working on their marksman skills because they knew they couldn't be fired for incompetence and poor performance. Vader was in a tough spot.

I think the orange is way to bright. Doesn't even look like UT orange

The white/orange tops looked much lighter once they were on the field at Oregon (I was there -- I actually thought they were slightly *too* creamsicle, and it wasn't even that bright). But they won't be too dark once they're out and in the sun.

I agree that they're not the same shade of orange as the white w/black outlines from the mid-90s, and I hope they can get to that shade eventually, but they'll at least be a bit brighter than this when they're on the field.
