I was telling the WH coach to punt before the 3rd qrt ended...even if they had to use a TO. Just for the wind. I guess he didn't hear me from my couch. - 8 yrd punt...blocked by the wind.

also...Maryville Rebels are #1 and don't you forget it. (do they still do the cheer?)

They are very good. Not sure ut would be able to run on their d line either. Qb was solid. About as well coached of an inner city memphis team as I have ever seen. No doubt in my mind those were the 2 best teams in 6a playing tonight.

Feel horrible for their punter. People forget maryville jad about a 15 yard punt into the wind in the first half. Wind was brutal out there.

I think if they would have stuck with the Rugby punt that they would have been alright. Trying to do the conventional punt was their undoing.

Imo he should have gotten defensive mvp. Maryville had no answer for him. He was a beast.

The cross field directional rugby punt was awesome.
