No I dont think Virginia will offer him. His best shot IMO was some place like Memphis, but I don't think he's ready to take on a job like that yet.

Louisville could still possibly bite. I think they really need someone who can recruit talent immediately...

I would not be surprised if Louisville takes Fulmer. The city and fanbase have beaten Kragthorpe up for years and would probably give an experienced coach the benefit-of-doubt for a few years.

Far from a Fulmerite, but the man gave a lot to the program, and for a while was a really good recruiter and decent developer of talent. I think with this year (and maybe one more) off, he will be a great catch for a program looking for some stability and an immediate upgrade in recruiting.
I hate the way he finished his tenure at UT and should have left on his own after the first losing season, but if the man has the itch to coach, I wish him (and whatever program he ends up at) the best unless they're playing the Vols.

I hope he comes back to coaching, rolls off three consecutive 0-12 seasons, and is fired in disgrace.

i couldn't have said it better myself. fulmer was always talked about favorably by all the sec coaches, Like the fat chick telling her fatter friend how good she looks. He was a joke in the sec and he only had a winning record because either A. superior talent or B Chavis and Cut. If it came down to coaching Heaven help us. :clapping::clapping::clapping:
