My suggestion is to bring some Jack Daniels with you and walk up to any Vol tailgate.

My Dad and I will be there! We just started doing the SEC tour together a few years ago. 5/16 for us!

Anyone know where our boys enter the stadium at in Fayetteville? We've always been able to be there to cheer them on as they get off the bus.

NW Arkansas is beautiful country, completely different from the rest of Arkansas. Fayetteville is a cool college town and the people there are generally nice people.

Agree 100%. It’s a great place to visit and great place for near by hiking.

Going with wife, daughter and son-in-law. Pray for me as I don’t do well around folks bad mouthing my Vols!

I've put up with it going on 50 years (I live in Fort Smith on the Oklahoma line.)

Anyone with a little extra time might want to swing by Fort Smith and visit the old courthouse where Isaac Parker held court (the hanging judge of True Grit). It's a national park. There's also the U.S. Marshals museum which is brand new and very impressive.

At this point the only options are likely to be in the Rogers/Bentonville area north of Fayetteville. About a 30 minute drive to the stadium

Just stay in a Walmart …there are plenty of those.

For those that have been to Fayetteville before, what’s there to do around the stadium? Any must sees or good places to eat?

My son & I will be there too! I bought tickets and booked a hotel today. We are sitting in Section 508. My buddy who is an Arkansas fan says Dickson Street has several restaurants to choose from. He recommended The Catfish Hole which is about 3 miles from the football stadium.

Coming from Middle Tennessee, I booked in Russellville (off of I-40) at a Fairfield, about 1 hour 45 minutes from Fayetteville. I’ll have to drive a little bit after the game, but at least I’ll be closer back home when I leave back out on Sunday. My buddy told me it’s a nice little area with good eating places.

Or you could head back towards Fort Smith or Russellville like I’m doing. I’ll be that much closer to home come Sunday morning.
