Who are the big money donors?

A letterman recently told me that the previous big money donors are around, but have been put in their proper place by the new administration and AD. It seems the days of certain individuals running roughshod over the program have been brought to an end by the “purge”. The individual I spoke to could not be happier with the situation in the athletic department, for all sports. He indicated it’s a completely different environment than they’ve experienced previously.

I don't mean to brag, but at the 1 UT sporting event I can afford to take my family to per year, I let each of my kids get 1 thing from the concession stand.
Could you do something about the south upper section? It feels and smells like a livestock holding pen up there.

In my not so humble opinion, the big donors got their feelings hurt and turned their backs on the university. Probably the main reason Priuitt had to be fired for cause, is they couldn't afford to give him his buyout, or even recently having to ask fans for donations to replace the goalposts. The media money is probably only enough to keep the program going.

Just wouldn't be surprise to find out that the program is running on a slim budget.

Proof is in the pudding. Let's see if they have the money to pay Heupel what he is worth in the off-season. Our state government and business men seems more obsessed with Nashville and the NFL.
So you trying to tell me that Jesus Christ can't hit a curve ball!? I would think the University of Tennessee will be able to sit at any table just fine brother.

Your humble opinion might be malfunctioning. Didn't Saban complain about UA not being able to compete for NIL funds with the likes of the UT and TAMU?

There has been around 100,000 plus big donors at every home game this year.Probably even more buying licensed merchandise etc.I myself make an embarrassing amount of money pay taxes and donate accordingly. It’s such a small amount it’s down right embarrassing!

If itwasn't for the fans and former players, the university would probably not see any donations. I wonder if the mega rich are giving their part? It wouldn't be a big shock to find out that the TCU oil baron donors aren't stuffing the pockets of sports media analysts and playoff committee voters.
