Cook and Schrader are beasts. They have a burning fire in their eyes and gut for 60 minutes. Every time the camera was on their eyes, I saw total focus and determination.

Who on the VOLS are the leaders who fire up the team? Where is Al Wilson? Peyton Manning? That legendary beast RB?

I just don't see the warriors who bring the fire and who raise the level of fierce on both side of the ball (and side line).

Prove me wrong. Who ya got?

The on field leaders are out ...Bru on Offense, Haddon on Defense.

Coaches need to.find the next alpha dog.to step up.

Pili was thought to be a difference maker and maybe he can come back. More competition at key positions is needed and perhaps another recruiting class or 2 will make a difference. Telander and Carter may make a difference. Nico should provide a huge upgrade in skill and leadership.

I don’t know, but the lack of effort on defense was certainly a huge problem today. I don’t know why, but the team has had a really hard time getting up for road games going back to South Carolina last season.

I’m sure the coaches are trying everything, but nothing is correcting it. Really, really hard to understand.

We have a lot of seniors (many are Pruitt recruits). I wonder if that is part of the problem.

Bru McCoy was the only leader we had. There is No leadership on this team!!!!!
Bru was a great receiver who could run, catch, block. He'll be back.

But, I didn't see that fiery leader in him. I'm looking for that Al Wilson who was fierce and vocal. That Manning who'd jack up the OL or go after a WR on the sideline to get their head in the game.

Al Wilson jacked up Manning!

Sampson is a BEAST. But, is he a fierce LEADER encouraging his mates?

I see his great play but have not seen that leadership quality. He may mature into that guy.
They go so fast on offense you will not see it between the sidelines. You have to watch the team sideline and read the practice and media reports to pick up on it for offense.

Watching on TV is limiting (mostly see what's on 20% of the playing surface).

I'm not doubting you on Sampson. We need that intensity to be contagious. I love watching him work.

I know even on TV I could really sense the intensity in Cook and Schrader. They obviously wanted the win more.

I have said the same thing. Was at the Swamp and watching the field and sideline, just didn’t see anyone getting fired up and trying to encourage their teammates.
