If you do fair catch, don’t you still get the ball at the 25? Wtf are they doing
Only if you’re the one that catches it. Had Cam called the fair catch we get it on the 25. Dee called it, and Cam caught it. And the ball is dead wherever it’s caught

Excuses, excuses and more excuses. Now we will hear fans complain and complain about the refs being the reason we lost. When many made fun of Bama fans for doing the same thing for last year.

Yes officiating has been bad. But we have been dominated in both sides of the ball and out von ached BADLY in the second half.

Totally agree. Yes ref's missed some bad calls, but Josh gave this game away

Our receivers have been mugged all game with no calls but we put a finger on them to give them a first down when they need it.

Where is that written? Also, saw his single and it was nowhere near a fair catch signal

C'mon guys and gals. We got outcoached. The officiating may not have been great (that defensive delay of game was a shite call), but it did not cost us this game. Not even close.

We might wanna tell our coach not to go for it on 4th down in our own territory twice. Look like after the first time he would have figured it out.

According to tonight’s refs, Alabama didn’t commit a single hold or pass interference the whole game. And if Alabama holds and scores, that’s not Heupel getting out coached. And if our WR is held and prevented from catching, it’s not being out coached. In my opinion, it’s all about the money. There was no way they were going to let Tenn win tonight. For crying out loud how many times has a coach asked for 1 more try at scoring and the refs give it to him without even the appearance of a review? Yes there should have been 1 more second because the refs reviewed the play and over turned the ruling on the field, not because the home coach told you too.

Holding calls alone cost us 14 points (our te in the end zone, Squirrel near the end of the game on 4th, and GJL getting called to give them a first and put them in position for an eventual 50 yard field goal).

I’m going to say field position and down and distance had a lot to do with our play calling in the 2nd half. Today the refs did play a part in both. With that said we also had something to do with it. Look at the 3rd and 9 holding call where they converted then look at the pass to squirrel in the end zone with 4 minutes left when we didn’t get the call and tell me which was worse.
On the road you have to expect these calls and that’s one reason it’s so hard to win on the road.

You might be able to argue the Squirrel call, but that ball landed out of bounds. The GJL hold was the right call.

I don't remember the TE hold. When was it and I'll go back and take a look.

I'm not giving the officials a pass; they did a mediocre job. They missed a PF call on us, too. I'm just saying we weren't winning that game based on the 2nd half performance or the actions of the officials. Before we knew it it was a 3 point game after halftime. Can't be doing that on the road.

It was first half, in the end zone. Also a bad missed holding call on their opening TD pass of the second half on the right tackle against Baron
