Who did we piss off in the SEC office?

There should be a 48 hour rule. You can't have a game for 48 hours after the scheduled ending of the previous one.

48 hours basically rules out Thursday/Saturday. 7 PM Thursday tip ends at 9 PM. How many 9 PM Saturday tips do you see? But, say. . . 42 hours. Yeah, that'd make sense.

Additionally: exception for two games played at the same place. The trick is traveling from Starkville to Knoxville and playing a game 36 hours later. If both were at TBA, that'd be quite different.

Ky is the beneficiary of getting to play 4 SEC teams on a Sat after the opposing team has played a Thu night game. They get to play UT, Alabama, Ole Miss and South Carolina on Sat after those teams have played a Thu night SEC game. I'm sure that was pure coincidence.

Ole Miss must've really pissed someone off. They get 3 Thu-Sat tilts while some teams got zero. Ky gets a Thu-Sun while LSU & Auburn get zero.

Bama gets 2 Thu-Sat, Vandy gets a Thu-Sat and a Thu-Sun, Miss St gets 2 Thu-Sat and Fla gets 2 Thu-Sat back-to-back.

Ole Miss got the biggest rim job and Ky, by pure coincidence, gets the most favorable one of them all.

Imagine that. SEC is desperately trying to up it's cred as a "basketball conference" too

Interesting that the last time the Cats played a Thurs./Sat. combo was the last time we beat them. Yet, most of them will have you believe it doesn't matter.

I admitted it was an advantage back in 2010 and was glad to catch a rare scheduling break.

I think Ky would still win the SEC without the schedule advantage, but I can see where Stallings, Donovan or Stansbury would have a problem with it. It directly impacts them and any chance they have of winning the SEC.

Whether Ky fans want to admit it or not, it's an advantage and Ky doesn't need any advantages really. They're good enough without them. It'll be interesting to see the outcomes in all the 4 games on Sat where they play a team coming off a Thu night game. So far, they're 1-0.

If UK were playing the Thurs./Sat. combo against a Tues./Sat. opponent, they'd still be favored in any SEC building this year.

I think a lot of it is UK having its games selected for TV before the Thursday games are set, but they could at least not give the best team the advantage four times.

Just ignore him, UK fans need something to boast about because they have nothing else
