Based on what the experts are saying it is looking like a 10 seed. George Mason, Missouri, Georgetown, UNLV, Temple, UCLA, Missouri, Old Dominion, and Utah State are the current 7 and 8 seeds according to Lunardi. Who do you think we stack up the best against?

I personally am hoping for one of the mid majors, but that is probably just because I have never seen them play.

Georgetown has struggled.

UCLA doesn't scare me, neither do the CAA teams.

Don't want to see Temple, UNLV, or Utah State

and I def don't want to play 2 Missou teams

UCLA, Missouri, Georgetown.

Definitely don't want to see Temple, UNLV, or Utah State. The CAA teams worry me too.

i hope people don't take this the wrong way, but you don't want anybody.

a lot of what's wrong with tennessee has nothing to do with their opponent. tennessee has to fix itself first before worrying about matchups.

in addition, i think we have learned by now that the other team (whoever it is) will have a chance to win with 2 minutes to go.

so, it really doesn't matter. tennessee can beat anyone. but, march is not the time to try to fix what's wrong.

Exactly
What difference does it make who we play ? If we play.

our best hope (non-miracle division) is to play another struggling, mediocre high major who will try just as hard as we do to give the game away. Georgetown (10-9 in the Big East, lost 5 of 6, three by double digits), Missouri (10-10 in the Big 12, lost 4 of 5), and UCLA (13-6 in a bad league, coming off a loss to Oregon) are the likeliest candidates.

Georgetown is literally a completely different team with their starting PG. He would destroy any of our guards.

Doesn't really matter who we play at this point. If Scotty doesn't go off and if we don't get the ball to Tobias when he is hot, then it really does not matter. I'm sucking down beer to keep from being so damn depressed. Maybe I'll feel better tomorrow, oh wait semi-finals are tomorrow. Well F-it. No more NCAA BB this weekend.

We're looking at about a solid 10 seed. Probably will end up playing UNLV or Old Dominion.

Our "best" matchup at the 10 slot would be Old Dominion. There isn't really one that favors us.

Let's be sensible. I hate to say it. It is hard to say, but truthfully, Alabama deserves our slot in the tourney. We have performed terrible lately. I can't even believe we are going to make the field.
