Who do you think will replace Franklin at Vanderbilt?

I was gonna say petrino.. I can see him going there, scum coach at a scumbag university. .

I'm not saying he's the best choice, but people always say he does more with less (player wise)..seems like that might be a useful trait at a place like Vandy.

How about Wade Phillips? Just got fired as a defensive coordinator... If he isn't offered another DC position, he might be interested in Vandy. But surely he will get an NFL offer.

There's probably little reason he'd be interested in a college position.

I think they'll go after Morris but guys like Pruitt and Derek Mason should/will get interview. Pruitt would be a hot name coming of a NC and his ties to state. Also the HC at Navy wouldnt shock me. Takes a differnt type of coach at Vandy. Lane Kiffin would be epic.

Honestly, I can. He wins a lot of games, he'd be a household name, and he usually has an exciting offense which MIGHT draw more fans to games. Hiring a recognizable coach like him could help save recruiting this close to NSD.

If Vandy would pay Franklin supposedly 3mil a yr, they certainly would pay him enough to leave W Ky.

Just keep him away from sorority row, and the women's athletic dept.

I'm not talking about the $$$. I'm talking about the person. Vandy? Uppity, self-righteous Vandy, hiring that guy? I predict it never happens.

Woody Widenhofer....he's available and will validate the pike pass if Vandy brass comes to make the offer, but will need to put in a two weeks notice first.

So has Franklin actually left or been made an official job offer? I've seen nothing, be it on ESPN, CNN Sports, or even checking the official university website.
