Say we have the chance to land either Heaps or Scroggins, but not both. Who do you want and why?

Some might ask why make a thread for this? I don't want to jam their respective threads with this nonsense.

I want Heaps. I wouldn't know how to evaluate a QB if it bit me in the ass. I'll just say because he has a teammate that might be the #1 overall player in the country next year.

I want to win and will be happy with whoever gives me the best shot.

can we bring back peyton for a 5th year?

seriously though, i like heaps as our guy. he will pick up our offense in little time and be that impact player we need so desperately.

Not the question. Don't open thread if you aren't prepared to make an answer. Either-or.

Get yourself right Eric.

If I had to pick it would be Heaps, even though there is a possibility that Scroggins could have a bigger upside. Heaps is the safer of the two.

I'll say Heaps for a few reasons:
1) he apparently studies the game of football like crazy as did Peyton and Ken Dorsey
2) he's a winner. he has NEVER lost a game in high school
3) Kasen Williams package deal
4) he just looks like a little better QB to me on film

Puss out.

I'll go with Heaps. I actually like Scroggins better, but to me Heaps will lead us to the better class. Also I think he is a more realistic possibility than Scroggins.

u'r pretty demanding, for starting such a wacko thread :eek:lol:
Trying to get a feel for these guys. I like to base my opinions on what other people think. :)

Except for lil' wayne, I know he is great and I don't care what people say.

I'm going with the minority view of Scroggins just b/c the clips I have seen of him are more impressive imho.

I like Scroggins, he has proven that he has got the skills to be an elite QB in the combines and to me he has the most upside of just about any of the QBs out there. He makes of of his throws look effortless whether it be a deep ball or a surgical strike. IMO

I think Scroggins. We know that he can pick himself up after a loss, put it behind him and kick butt the next week. With Heaps, you never know. He might unravel after that first loss.

I'd have to say Heaps. I am by no means an evaluator of QB talent so they both look impressive, but to me Heaps seems to be a bit more accurate...albeit by maybe 0.00001%
