Who does a sloppy, rain soaked game favor?

I hope our running game is up to par. It'll not be easy to throw.

That is why it favors the Vols IMO. I've always been under the impression that rain favors the team with the stronger ground game due to wet balls being more difficult to throw accurately and catch.

USU's strength has been the passing game. I believe rain removes at least some of that advantage.

I think our size advantage at many positions is also a plus in wet weather.

Ok, here is what I gleaned from this thread:

Bad weather will slow down their receivers, thus making them harder to cover so that will give them an advantage.

Bad weather will make it difficult to contain Chuckie Keaton so that will give them an advantage.

Bad weather will make it harder on our big but inexperienced Olinemen so that will give them an advantage.

Bad weather will reduce the humidity making the atmosphere closer to that of Logan UT, so that will give them an advantage.

Bad weather will make the passing game easier so that will give them an advantage.

What am I missing?

Good thing these are all accounted for with the current 6.5- line.

If the rain skips us we pummel them by 3-4 TDs!

Bad weather increases humidity. It will feel nothing like Logan, Utah Sunday night.
