Hoping it's UT, but whatever school he chooses, I wish him well. He's an 18 year old man starting the next phase of his life. I just hope it's wearing the color orange.

The increase of talent in Tennessee will only get better.

The large cities and the states in the north, which are run by liberal democrats, have high crime rates, higher than the national average on un employment, cold weather and strick gun controls, and state taxes.

The trend these days, is for the Yankee's from Ohio, MIchigan, New York, Maine, etc. to move south to where the weather is warmer, and jobs can be found.

So, you will see less and less highschool talent coming from the northern cities and states and more from the southern states, us included.......

Only problem is that the northerners will bring their problems with them to Tennessee.

Maybe they will see the light and become conservative and leave socialism behind......

Yeah migration from northern to southern states and it's affect on college sports has been discussed for a while. Has hurt the Big East and Big 10 a lot. Pennsylvania has really plummeted imo.

Anywho..iirc I was bashed like u have on this thread after discussing it in the D Green recruiting thread last year. Because so many thought he was lock cause MI was to cold but he was from Brooklyn or something originally so that wasn't a factor. Anyway I mentioned then that the state of TN would be the benefit of this in the future and we r starting to see it imo.

Welcome to the "ur post went over my head and I shouldn't like it so i'll bash u with name calling instead" club my friend. Ha!!

The biggest die hard Dooley supporter sticking up for him doesn't make his post seem any smarter.

Why are you talking about politics on a Vols board? This should be the one place where we can have some solidarity regardless of our political beliefs - we're all Vols fans and in it together. If you need to vent about politics, go post comments at KnoxNews.com or something.

He will pick the team that has the best QB and offensive line situation. That is not us. If I were a WR with an NFL skill set I would go to whichever team had the best passing attack. Unfortunately we don't qualify as we will be experimenting with QBs for the next two years. Probably Georgia.

Have you considered the QB situation at Clemson and UGA for 2014? I know it sounds crazy after our QB shuffle this season, but UT lookin' pretty good considering his other two options.

While I believe that a good receiver will consider those two factors. A whole lot of other ones go into the decision as well. Plus, each kid has a unique priority list when it comes to that choice.

Visions of touchdowns scored on bombs to Josh Malone will begin, in earnest, to dance in Volunteer heads.

So many fans setting themselves up for another big let down. I hope he wants to be a Vol. But I'm not so enamoured with him as everyone else. I think we need more DT's and DE's with a nasty side. But I'm also hoping he selects the Vols because we need play makers all over the field on both sides of the ball.
