I never pull for the SEC except for UT. I wish somehow bama and lsu could both lose and Oklahoma State could slide in there. All these SEC teams winning NC's is putting UT farther and farther behind in recruiting.:hmm:

I would say that its probably losing. Also coaching changes tend to do that. If we were constantly winning 10-11 games and had the same coach for more than 2 years, we would be doing just fine recruiting. Its our own fault, quit blaming other teams

I will never cheer for Vandy in anything, especially in football with that POS coach. He hasn't beaten anyone worth a crap and is getting praised like he beat Alabama and LSU, hell he couldn't even beat us!

I'm just saying that's a big part of it ... recruits are LINING up to play for the bama's and LSU's. So you think if they weren't winning 10-11 games they just might have a drop off in their recruiting???? Thus ... this is the reason I don't pull for SEC teams.

I never understood the hate for Vandy... They are a complete joke. Its not like they're Florida and just kick our ass every year.. I realize its instate rivalry, but what kind of rivalry has them losing almost every year.. Kinda like Kensucky.. How is that a rivalry? I'ma pull for Vandy, and every SEC school in a bowl game, just because I hate these non-SEC fans who act like the SEC isn't good.

I don't hate Vandy per se but I want to see them stomped so that jackal of a coach gets a heavy dose of humiliation.

and the local media here, will print fluff article, after fluff article, extolling the virtues of coach transition lenses and his stellar 6-7 season.... this same media was just recently talking about what a program changing win this would be for Vandy.... now, keep in perspective, the hatchet pieces that were written here locally after Tennessee lost in the music city bowl and ended the season 6-7, last year.... and the hatchet pieces that were written about how Tennessee had no good wins this year ( and yes, I know it's ' just Cincinnati ' but beating a ten win team, who was a half away from a BCS berth, is a good win.... Trust me, To those who don't choose a side of the fence to hang out on, come to Nashville, live here for awhile as a UT fan and the vitriol and hatred for Vandy that you have will multiply exponentially

Good to see Franklin experience another disappointment. If not for him, I'd be rooting for VU as they are a Tennessee school. But that guy is such a rectal cavity I'd be in favor of even Pima Community College beating them with a make shift team of local wanna be players.

Cincy wasn't that great of a win for UT but it would've been a great win for Vandy. That's all.

For all of you parents with multiple kids I'm sure you have a child where C's, D's, and F's aren't acceptable and a child that you just want to pass however it happens. Same situation in that they're different circumstances.

I wish you people would end you obsession with Vandy. They aren't that important.
