We will be in a few games this year where Nico will have to take over and win the game. That's what good quarterbacks do, and I believe he will rise to the occasion when the time comes.

I like a lot of what you said.

However, this idea of "either defense or offense will have to step up and win games for us," I think is just wrong.

They do it together. If the defense only allows 10 points, the offense has to get 11 points. If the offense gets 50 points, the defense only has to stop the other guy from getting more than 49.

Anywhere up and down that scale. They work it out together. Each side will have good days and bad days, we just don't want them both to have a bad day on the SAME day.
