He used to call Mike Keith's show back in the '90's and Keith called him "Ogre"...I think the small Mike moniker is intended to be a homage to Keith (I'm sure he is honored)...Before there was such a thing as internet trolls there was a sexist loud-mouthed pig named Jim Copeland blowing hot air on Knoxville area call in shows.

I thought I was the only person who remembered him as the Ogre. Frankly, he is anti-women and sometimes he is subtle others pigish. And the Lady Vols are his outlet.

And of course we know that sport talk shows cultivate such types. I remember reading an article about how such types learn all the tricks and are in waiting hours before the sports show comes on BTW Note we have on our board a "darth Vol"

To those who listen to the Sports Animal, you may listen from 12 noon to 3 PM for "Sports 180" with Josh Ward & Will West. One or twice a week, a regular caller who calls himself Mike calls in, and before he finishes his call, he makes disparaging remarks about Coach Pat Summit.

I finally have heard enough, and called in to let them know I am through with their program. I pointed out that since Doc Jeff and Heather in the morning refuses to take his calls. as well has Sports Talk with John Wilkerson & Jimmy Hyams, they have my respect, while Josh and Will, who continue to allow this jerk on the air, have completely lost it.

I believe in freedom of speech. But I highly doubt there is a single soldier who ever gave his life in a war for a nimrod like Mike to continually berate one of the classiest ladies I have ever met.

Not only am I boycotting Sports 180, I know who their sponsors are, and refused to do business with them, until Josh & Will man up, and push this abusive clod off the air permanently.

I just wanted Lady Vols fans to be aware of this.

And just in case Mike reads this, I have nothing to say to him. Not words.

They let him call, but they typically spend a great deal of time during and after his calls making him look like an idiot, so I don't see what the problem is. He likes letting people know how stupid he is. They certainly don't ever agree with him on Pat (or most things).
