Yeah we just got Teague from Fla and Bama......I think this qualifies as good news.

Good news would be Marlon Brown or Sam Montgomery. I really dont even think Myles qualifies as great news. I think Gordon is better than Myles. There is always next year.

i'm a realist. looking at the rest of the SEC there is not a person other than some on this board that can say this day is going well. i've said it before and i'll say it again i hope kiffin can coach better than he recruited this year or we are in trouble. being outrecruited by MSU and OLE MISS and AU just isn't right.

If we truly got Richardson I will be eating Crow for the rest of the day and be very happy about it.

So, let me get this straight. After a 5-7 season and a coaching change, you expected us to keep all our early commits and pick up several more that weren't high on us before? And you are the realist? I believe it's more likely that you are in fact Chicken Little.

Ok, I am going to have to stop watching this crap. I'll hope for a nice NSD surprise after work.

what a idiot. let's see satan did it, mullen has done it and auburn's head coach is doing it. we paid double, why the hell can't we. dissappointing recruiting season.

Paid double? Our staff makes less than Bama's.

CLK did something a little different and took less money as a head coach so that he could disperse it to assistant coaches.

my bad let me rephrase, the staff makes double, i know the devil gets paid almost 3 times more than kiffin, but he deserves it.

Quality > Quantity.

Check out the rankings compared with the total amount committed. We're doing well with what we've signed compared to these other teams being thrown around as "outrecruiting" us.

Oh, the irony. You can't get your facts or your basic grammar correct, so all indications are that you are a complete and utter moron (i.e., "a idiot"). I don't feel too bad about being called "a idiot" by such a person (even if he is a self-proclaimed realist).

smoke another one fatty maybe you'll have a vision that we will win the sec next year. you take a personal shot at me you will get it back. it seems like most of the part time posters on here never have any input just the usual ignorant spouting off of the mouth. by the way that 3-9 record that michigan put together really seems to be hurting them today. do you ever do research or just dribble down stupid crap. bottom line he was paid and didn't produce so far.

I was here well before you and have unfortunately been subjected to 2,058 posts of nonsense from you. Anyway, I'm not going to argue with such a mental midget any longer. I wish you the best in your depressing, joyless, mentally incompetent world. I'm not going to get too worked up over missing on a couple of recruits this year.

so nothing to offer. thats what i thought. look at the rest of the sec and that tells the story. give me factual reasons why we should be optomistic about this class and i'll listen. the only one i can come up with is that we will have more scholly's next year. really no line help, no QB, the big wr's didn't come our way today. on the offensive side of the ball it was a real bad recruiting day. i really think he will have to pull in 8-10 freshmen next year and start them right off day one. there isn't much on the line to coach up.

NONchampyvol:
N-K Richardson is a big time slot WR. We got him
Teague will be a star where-ever he plays (O or D)
Greg King is a big time LB
Myles will be a star at safety.
All these were signing day surprises.
Then and perhaps the best of all.......we get 5 star in state DL Smith to start the 2010 class.
Not bad for a bad day there NON-champ

the only one i can come up with is that we will have more scholly's next year. agree

really no line help, no QB, the big wr's didn't come our way today. agree except Schofield

on the offensive side of the ball it was a real bad recruiting day. Nuke and Teague were big pickups and taken from UF.

i really think he will have to pull in 8-10 freshmen next year and start them right off day one. Don't think it will be that bad

there isn't much on the line to coach up. Also worried about this

alright then, how much do you think nuke will play. i see him on punt, kickoff returns and trick plays where the reciever throws the ball, and reverses. the dude is my size. i like green i think he will play well. we did get revis and schofield, but i can only hope they can be coached up enough to help us soon. the only problem i look at the big dawgs in the sec and see the studs they brought in and it makes me sick. to me they just pulled ahead that much further in talent and i get a bad feeling.

I have no idea what our offense will actually end up looling like next year, so I can't speculate on how Nuke will be used. I hope he will see time in the return game in year one and then see how he fits in at WR from there.

I don't like losing Oku (probably). I think it has very little immediate impact but you hate to lose guys who appear to be so talented.

I don't like Kiffin telling Thigpen and Boyd to look elsewhere, but without knowing what our plans are for the future of the offense, I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt for now.

I wish we would have picked up one more highly regarded OL and kept Boyd, but I don't really see us as falling way behind the other schools with this class. We picked up several potential playmakers on both sides of the ball.

One last thing, I think you were being sarcastic but I actually think you had a point when you mentioned more scholarships for next year. Kiffin got into the game very late this year and many of the top guys were locked down. Maybe he wants to sign a bigger class next year when he has an equal shot at everybody.
