Was seriously trending on Twitter last night.

I weep for humanity.

I heard on the radio here that they also brought in Maroon 5 and Foster the People with The Beach Boys because if they didn't, the younger generations wouldn't have known that they were relevant. Sometimes I really hate my generation.

Me too. It's a disgrace how some people our age aren't knowledgable with the classics.

Nothing wrong with not knowing who he is. What most of you guys call "classics," a lot of other people call "boring and cheesy." I personally can't stand The Beatles. They are undoubtedly the biggest and most influential band ever, and that's why they've maintained their popularity all these years. But it's pretty unfair to rip on younger people just because they don't know a member of a band they've never listened to.

But shouldn't they at least know who the Beatles are if they are that influential? Granted he is probably the lesser known Beatle compared to John Lennon, but I just find it hard to believe considering some of these kids are probably only 10 years younger than me.

Beatles had no thump and bump and slap a hoe cop killer lyrics. Hard to believe that at one time, people actually listened to them.

Yes, I would be concerned if they've never heard of The Beatles. But this is about hearing the name Paul McCartney without mentioning the band.

Good ole Paul. From the land of the liverpudlians.... Classy guy. It's a shame that some people don't know real music and don't know who he is...

All my favorite musicians are Brits.
