I clicked on the link and saw he was a wide receiver. Can anybody tell me what a wide receiver is? I've been watching TN for 3 years and haven't seen what they do.

Where is Dobbs4Heisman to explain?

It would be nice to get a commit today. We need a Big Boomer commit to get this class rollin into NSD!

I'm starting to get the feeling you really don't like dobbs, D4H, or butch jones and wish Dooley was still our illustrious coach.

You are right about one of those - D4H. Completely wrong on all the others. However, liking someone does not have to equate to kissing their ass or pretending people are something they are not. For example, Dobbs is not a good passer and that's putting it mildly - however that does not mean we can't win the SEC with him next year given we have a unique running offense with Hurd and Kamara to complement him.

Would be surprised since the rumor is based off of a tweet from Coach Z. I would guess an offensive player.

In Dooley's reign, the assistant coaches would recruit a geographic area of the country and not recruit by position. So, it is possible for Coach Z to recruit a defensive or special teams player in that geographic area.
Is this also the way that bUTch has his assistants recruit?

Just about every school recruits that way... They will usually bring in their position caoch or coordinator in at some point to get the player comfortable with them, but every coach has a region

In the past 24 hours, six CB's to Tennessee, including CB's from the Ole Miss and Miss. St. 247 insiders. All signs pointing to Callaway being a Vol.

Dooley forgot to assign anyone to the Southeast geographic area.

Yup. And with the MS guys predicting TN tells me he won't make those 2 OVs. Great news. Glad to have him a Vol.
