The guy is having a career year but he should not get a mention in this conversation.

I'm not saying he's in the same breath as the others. but lord. he ain't slowin down.

And, once again, He's not in the same breath as Pujols or any of those guys. But he's just plain crushing the ball.

No doubt it was during the steroid era but he never did again and that was early on in it I believe.

Just saying that guys have fluke years all the time. I tend not to think this is a fluke for Bautista however, as the guy hit 10 home runs in September last year...

I've been waiting for Bautista to just stop hitting entirely all season... he did there for awhile, but he's back at it.

And yeah, Anderson did it in like 96 and the most he hit after that in a season was 24 I think.

Why? The topic is about power hitters and he has lots of it. Just because it hasn't translated into games until now doesn't mean he doesn't have power.


If you are talking about consistent power hitters, that's another topic.

Travis Snider has some of the best raw power in the game as well. Check out his HR yesterday.

I love this kid. I think he has a chance to be a 30 HR 40 2B guy for years.

Also, Arencibia might just be getting the call soon...? I hope I hope.
