Let's see....
Irons averages 110.2 yards-per-game rushing,

McFadden 99.0,

Ware 43.3,

Brown 70.0,

Wynn 62.2,

and of course Foster who is averaging 135.0 ypg since becoming the starter at UT.

On what basis is TT the best coach in the SEC? This year is not over, and other than last year in which he had four first rounders playing for him what has he done?

So he is the best coach because he recruited 4 first rounders? How did he do with those first rounders before thier final season?

He developed them into an undefeated team because he is a good coach. Development is what we lack at UT. Who in this league has done more than Tommy at their school? Phil and Mark Richt sure can't beat him.

CPF and Richt have both done more at their schools than TT when you look at overall accomplishments in the SEC. I just don't think it is fair to crown the guy the best coach in the league based on 2 successful seasons when you look back at his record before last year.

Maybe it's because it was a rebuilding job when he got there and he has built the program into a national contender....What exactly have Mark and CPF done that TT hasn't done?

Tennessee hasn't won the SEC in 7 years. UGA won the league 3 years ago for the first time in 20 years.

And what what were TT's records prior to last season? You don't think visor boy is a better coach than TT?

Unless the East chokes as a whole I don't think UGA will be one. They're losing a lot of talent. The QB situation is up in the air. If Pope goes pro, then their passing game just took a nose dive. They slid by this year on what they have. And with them losing a lot of that it would take choking by us, USC, and UF for them to scoot in.

gotta be lsu in the west. although auburn will be really good again next year.

i think we have to be the favorite b/c of our schedule and us getting cut back will help our offense.

georgia is losing shockley, who knows what leak will do.

but keep an eye out for the sneaky spurrier. i wouldnt be surprised if he won the sec.

You do realize LSU is traveling to Auburn next year and Auburn lost an OT game in which they missed 5 fg's?

LSU returns Russell for a 3rd year and has beaten AU in 2 of the last 3 years.

It will be tough but LSU is very capable of beating them

It was one game. That does not mean Auburn gets handed a win next year.

I don't live in Tennessee, but I am a serious bleed orange rocky top Tennessee Volunteer fan. I don"t care what year it is or who's coming or who's going if someone ask me who's going to be the best team in the SEC, I will quickly, without hesitation repond THE TENNESSEE VOLUNTEERS. Where's your heart at?GO VOLS GO :dance2:

Though that is a great view to have, it is another reason I think so many UT fans think the world is falling with 2 losses in a season when in reality...a 9-2 year is far from bad
