In the case of Nikki that's especially so given that she is in the same league with another person allegedly in the running for this job in Tina Langley. Langley has a much better record at Rice. Nikki may get there but blind resume vs blind resume Langley is a better choice at this moment in time.

The funny thing about Langley is that if she doesn't get the UT job were likely going to be facing her as I expect she'll end up at Alabama, Auburn, or LSU after next year.

Langley at Rice made it to the NCAA Tournament this year only, and lost in first round. Kellie Jolly-Harper has taken teams from 3 different schools to the NCAA’s, and her team is playing in the Sweet 16 on Saturday.

Banghart has only Coached in Ivy League, got to 2nd round of NCAA once. Meier’s teams have lost in 1st round of NCAA 8 times.

Chances of her beating Tara are slim to none and none just left. Tara doesn’t lose to inferior competition like Missouri State, they’re easily defendable and she’ll have a game plan which her players will execute. Conversely, Missouri State does not match up well at all defensive with Stanford. 20 point spread or more in that contest is my prediction.

Just saw AD Fulmer at the Vols/Purdue game...crazy how they are playing at the KFC yum center (lol I had no clue that was the name) and that’s where the Louisville Cards play. Very interesting🤔🤔

His assistant also accepted the Head Coaching job at Eastern Kentucky. Doesn’t mean he’s gone as well, but it’s keeping my interest peaked.

I think Walz is just bucking for a raise! I hope not but I just don't think we can afford him and his buyout. JMO hope I'm wrong

I thought that too, but another poster pointed out the massive difference in program funding he would have at UT compared to Louisville. He’d take a smaller paycheck, but have a whole lot more to play with for travel, recruiting etc. I think Fulmer is actually serious about wanting the program to regain Elite status, which means he’s prepared to shell out the $$$$.

I know. I just mean he wouldn't be able to talk to Walz while he was in LVille because Walz hasn't been in LVille while Fulmer is in town.
