The part I am having a hard time understanding is who leaked it to Pete from on3.

Obviously Big Nick was upset and lied about any negotiation going on. It also doesn’t make sense from Tennessee camp to leak it.

Will West was on the radio yesterday crying over this situation. He said if it was UT, then it was a classless move and that you don't leak behind closed doors convos on contracting (and tried to compare it to his own contracting experience).

Regardless of who did it, UT is clearly winning the court of public opinion on this. When you have Saban coming out and saying "go vols" in response, you know you dun f'd up.

After reading a little about Nic and his antics with Madden, it appears the guy may be a compulsive liar who is playing games with his kids futures. He may very well have been the one to leak info and then blame the other side. They don't even have an agent. Nic and a family friend named Landers is doing all the game playing. I didn't realize they made the last minute switch to Arkansas without even visiting the school. I don't think anybody can believe a word that comes out of his mouth. I can't help but wonder if all of these games he likes to play hasn't hindered Nico's development.

Tennessee got out ahead of the issue before Nicos camps did. Regardless it was known Nicos side was looking back in December and wanted an 11th hour deal from Tennessee.

Tennessee is looking golden by taking the stand no one is bigger than the power T. While Nico is getting denied before he can make it official with another team.

It absolutely makes sense for Tennessee being the leaker. It puts all of the blame squarely on Nico and his handlers not Tennessee.

They have hired an agent now. I don’t think it’s going as smoothly at camp Nico as they thought it would. Teams are actually talking to each other so they have no leverage.
