yep...i've never really been a fan of May's...but since he's been paired with Holtz...i have a whole new respect for him.

I played high school football against Spurrier, and he was an arrogant conceited butt then too. By the way, we were the only team that beat his team his senior year. Tennessee High of Bristol. Spurrier wanted to go to Tenn, but the Tenn scouts came to watch him play, and were more impressed with the punter and offered him the scolarship instead. That,s why he has such an agenda toward UT.

That was some great scouting. Pass on a Heisman winner for a punter. That looks good on the resume.

I know that. The unwillingness to modernize the offense is the reason Doug Dickey inherited a crumbling program at UT.

What do expect from a cockhead that comes into a Tennessee board and asks "who likes Spurrier"? I feel quite confident he never received an offer of a Rhodes Scholarship... :blink:
